For the first time in three weeks I have all of the time in the world to write. The chores are all done. The projects are all in a holding pattern. Everyone is taken care of and where they need to be.
But instead of writing an article today, I am going to slack off and watch a double feature on the TV with my son. Then we are going to make a living room picnic under a tent we shall make. And then we are going to destroy the kitchen table with construction paper, glue, and anything else we can get our hands on.
It is not often I have hours and hours without something calling to one of us. So, today is going to be all about him. Period. Not just a story here or hug there. All day.
So come back tomorrow or Friday when I am a little more pressed for time and can just manage to fit the blog writing in the cracks of our day.
P.S. Try to schedule a day like this with your kids. And not for them. It is a marvelous thing to be Peter Pan for a day!

Hi, Laurel! I LOVE your site! I have had so much fun looking around, and I’m not done! Thank you so much for recommending me on StumbleUpon! I’ve never heard of that website, and now I’m having a blast on it! I’m looking forward to reading more of your tips since organization is something I like to think I’m good at… but I’m really not. Take care, and I’m so glad to find you!!
