Myndology – What a Productive Idea

by Laurel Plum

My teenager came home from school today and showed me this cool flash card pack her teacher had given out to the class.  I had to agree, it was cool.

It was much smaller than the average index card. The cards are on a ring and can be added or removed.  They can be shuffled and reordered.  I immediately knew I had to get some of these for my clients.  I could quickly think of so many uses.  Repetitive to-do items and holiday planning.  Chore lists and cheat sheets.  Addresses and grocery lists. Too many ideas went streaming through my mind too quickly for me to remember all of them.

So I got on the computer and searched for the company.  Myndology has the cards available in several different sizes.  I’ll be ordering some classpacks so they will cost me less than $2 each. They have a couple of colored cards that can be used to make sections in each ring.  Or you could pick the colored stack to use for color coding.

Other Ideas

The ring idea could easily be adapted.  I could use them for the educational card decks for the little guy adding a few at a time.  How about making your own decorating reference from paint chips and fabric swatches.

For some of you, using book rings are not a new idea.  Take a minute to look at the site anyway.  They have customizable notebooks, too.  Very simple, but clever offerings.  The notebooks and other supplies Myndology offers could take scrapbooking and journaling up another level, too. They are comparable to Levenger’s Circa Shell line.

Your Ideas

How many other ways can you think of to use a notebook ring?  Please, share your ideas with the rest of us in the comments.
