I always keep several sets of these week over week magnetized dry erase calendars in my bag of tricks.
The ones I have on hand at the moment are from Quartet, but I have used other brands I like just as well. Now, these are not my favorite dry-erase calendar (they would be if they were just a bit more sturdy), but they are definitely the most versatile.
Since they are magnetized, they can go on the refrigerator, a file cabinet or any other metal surface.
The week over week feature offers many options, too. It can be used as a rotating calendar as is. You can use multiple sets together to add additional weeks which is convenient at home and great for small businesses watching a quarter at a time.
But there are SO many other ways I have used them instead of just as a running calendar. A few examples. You could split them up to track the weekly agenda of four family members (more with additional sets). You could use them as a chore chart. Instead of using the Month and Day spaces as intended, write in the person’s name in the month spot, use the calendar square to list chores, then add a check mark in the day space when all of the chores are completed.
Are you wondering what these calendars have to do with the kitchen theme of this week? They make great helpers for meal planning!
So — Do you want one? There are just a couple of little things you need to do.
- Leave a comment letting me know that you would like them.
That’s it. If you are new here, I would like for you to look around, but I will not ask you to subscribe. I hope you will, but that is not a condition for the giveaway.
For anyone who wants extra entries for the giveaway:
- I will give two extra entries for anyone who tweets about this giveaway or passes it along. Just let me know in the comments that you did so. (You can follow me or use a #lpo hash tag so I can find it.)
- As a bonus, I will give one extra entry for anyone who can share another way of using them not already listed here. And two extra entries to anyone who makes a suggestion that teaches me a new way of using them. (This one is completely and subjectively judged by me. But what have you got to lose by trying?)
- And since these are from my own stash, I will offer one more extra entry to anyone who tries the random search button in the sidebar to find another article, reads it, then lets me know what they like/do not like about the article or the site. (You can find your way back here by using the Home tab at the top or bottom of any page, or by looking in the Recent Articles in the sidebar. )
You have until Wednesday the 25th at midnight (EST). Next Thursday, I will announce the winning number.
And do not forget to comment on all of the other articles for this week since this is a full week of giveaways!
