Well, we are entering a new month and a new season. October is National Breast Cancer Month, so go get the girls checked! If you think you are to young yet to worry about it, consider talking to your doctor about getting baseline images anyway, then talk to all of the other women in your family, your friends, your office…
I do not want to encourage you to clutter up your home with unnecessary things, but if you are in need of something or are gift shopping, keep an eye out for the pink ribbon choices that support cancer research and programs. I will be making some additions in the sidebar for banners and links to the Pink promotions of our advertisers. Organize.com is running a Think Pink promotion that has a few handy selections. I have added their banners in the far sidebar for you to access or you can click this link to Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer at Organize.com.
Other October observances: 13th – Columbus Day, 16th – National Boss Day, 18th – Sweetest Day, 26th – Mother-In-Law Day ?!?!. And of course – Halloween on the 31st.
Now, on to the links! Look and Enjoy!

Thanks for the mention! What a great group of resources! I especially liked Gretchen Rubin’s article on Huffington Post. My fave tips on there were sitting up straight and using a headset. Those two really do make a difference! *straightening up right now*
